Q: What is Legal Asset?

Legal Asset is a disruptive recruitment platform designed for the legal market.

We are making recruitment efficient and transparent by using technology and focusing on customer service.

Our platform uses matching technology in a closed database to ensure you are found by the ideal employer. Pro-active consultants are hand to arrange interviews and provide advice throughout the hiring process.

We are an international platform, simply select the locations you are willing to work.

Register with us, save time and let the job come to you.

Q: How does it work?

  1. Create a profile using your personal email address (usually takes around 5 minutes)
  2. An activation email will be sent to the one you used to register.
  3. Check your preferences and go live.
  4. When employers conduct searches your anonymised profile will be presented in their results. If your profile and preferences match saved employer searches, they will be notified and can request your CV.
  5. Employers that request your CV can only do so if they match your vacancy requirements. You will know the company, salary, location and some extra information if provided.
  6. CV requests are sent to your email address and are logged on your candidate dashboard. You can accept the request by logging in.
  7. After you accept a CV request, we will be on hand to arrange interviews and provide guidance.

Legal Asset is designed for Solicitors, Paralegals and Legal support staff with any level of experience.

We feature vacancies on our blogs/jobs page and social media, take a look and follow us to be kept informed.

Q: How much does it cost?

Legal Asset is completely free for candidates.

Q: How long does it take to register?

It will take around 5 minutes to register. You can login and finish where you left off or change your preferences from your dashboard.

Q: What do I need to complete my Profile?

You will need an up to date CV (Resume) in either word (.doc or .docx) or PDF file format.

Q: Will my CV ever be published online?

Your CV will never be published online or shared with anyone. We only release your CV to employers when you accept their request.

Q: Who can see my anonymous Profile?

Only employers who match your vacancy requirements and experience will see your anonymous profile in results.

Q: Can my current company see my anonymous Profile?

Your current employer will never see your profile.

If your company is not listed during registration, select ‘Not Listed’ from the drop-down menu. Send us your company name, with your corporate email domain (for example @legalasset.co.uk). We will add the company to our database and amend your profile, so you are not found by your current employer.

Q: How should I set my preferences?

We recommend that you set your preferences to reflect a role you would like to accept.

Please try and be accurate with your education, experience, preferences, language skills and location requirements. We would like to provide a good service to both employers and candidates and having an accurate profile helps us to provide a great service.

Q: Can I change my Profile and Preferences?

Yes, simply login and click on the ‘My Profile & Preferences’ option. You can change your preferences and experience or upload a CV from here.

Q: How will I know when an employer is interested?

Employers can send CV requests if they match your vacancy requirements and you match their candidate criteria.

You will receive an email with some key details (salary, location, company name). You can login and accept or decline the employers request. We will also be in touch to discuss the role and the employer’s requirements.

Q: What happens once my CV has been sent to an employer?

When you accept a CV request, we will contact the employer to gather feedback. We will contact you to discuss the role and arrange an interview.

We are on hand throughout and will provide guidance and advice throughout your hiring journey.

Once you have started your role we will work with the employer to develop your career plan so you can benefit from your position and are a valuable asset within the workforce.

Q: Can I track the progress of my applications?

You can see all CV requests, current job applications and their status and any rejected CV requests or roles in your Dashboard at any time.
